About Course
Architecture is the art and technique of designing and building, as distinguished from the skills associated with construction. It is both the process and the product of sketching, conceiving, planning,designing, and constructing buildings or other structures.
The Minimum entry requirements into National Diploma (ND) in Architectural Technology are Five (5) Credits passes in WASC/ NECO/GCE O’level/SSCE/NABTEB- National Technical Certificate (NTC) Examination at not more than two (2) sittings.
The subjects must include:
- English Language;
- Physics;
- Mathematics;
Plus any other two (2) of the following:
Fine Art, Technical Drawing, Economics, Electrical Installation/Woodwork/ Metal Work/Painting, Decoration, Carpentry & Joinery, Building Construction/Plumbing & Pipe Fitting/Block Laying, Geography, Data Processing /ICT/ Computer Studies, Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Chemistry, CRS/IRS, Music, History, Government/Civic Education, Literature-in-English.
